Art21Studio
Manufacture, buying and selling art.

Art21Studio emerged in the 1980s from the interaction between the Guadalajara art scene and the marriage of Ingrid Mattsson (a graphic designer from Gothenburg) and Francisco Quiroz (a Mexican chemical engineer). Over the years, this interaction created friendships and from there, experiments combining chemistry and art were born.
This experimentation and collaboration grew, generating the need to expand and adapt larger and more diverse spaces within the chemical products plant that would have the appropriate tools so that the invited artists, together with Francisco, could develop the various art projects. After a while, the space became fully dedicated to art projects and it was decided to direct the focus of the business on collaboration with artists and the art world.
At Art21Studio, we specialize in two primary areas: the creation and production of sculptures, decorative objects, and architectural elements, as well as the exhibition and sale of exquisite works of art.
What was once a testing laboratory has now been transformed into our most intimate space a showroom dedicated to showcasing small exhibitions and the sale of works by the artists we closely collaborate with. This includes paintings and sculptures, many of which were crafted in our workshops or are part of our exclusive collection.

We specialize in creating a wide range of works, from small to large-scale sculptures and artistic pieces, to architectural and decorative elements, as well as awards. Our craftsmanship spans both traditional methods, such as lost wax casting in bronze and aluminium, and innovative techniques using synthetic materials like polymers, fiberglass, epoxy resins, and polyester. By blending time-honoured practices with cutting-edge technology, we incorporate 3D printing, scanning, digital modelling, CNC routing, laser cutting, and computer-controlled hot wire cutting.
